The October 2011 issue of WIRED Magazine (Volume 19, Issue 10) was themed around "Reverse Evolution". Its centerpiece was a feature on how scientists are attempting to manipulate dormant avian genes to reverse-evolve modern chickens into small, dinosaur-like creatures.
