Shipping policy

All orders of in stock items are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

There are always potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.

Preorders will be processed on the release date or when the fabric arrives. Because of supply chain delays, Tilda fabrics have been delayed up to 3 months. Preorder kits will be processed within 1-2 weeks after the arrival of the newest collections.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We use the USPS. We check the different options for shipping to give you the cheapest price. You may upgrade to Priority or Priority Express Mail as desired. I refund shipping overcharge when over $1.00.

Media Mail is used for books and magazines.

For items adding up to 1 pound, First Class shipping is used.
For items over 1 pound, Priority flat rate shipping is used. Bulkier items will require larger boxes.
Flat Rate Envelopes are $9.30
Flat Rate Padded Envelopes are $9.30
Flat Rate Medium Boxes are $15.25
Flat Rate Large Boxes are $20.20

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us through our contact page or email at karen.king@thesurgeonsknots.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We do not accept returns. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at karen.king@thesurgeonsknots.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
